MSK Interventions

MSK stands for musculoskeletal. Being presented with options for managing your MSK condition as an important aspect of informed consent.

There are many different manual interventions that a Chiropractor can choose to employ from light touch to a fast sudden movement and a long slow stretch such as:

Touch, Light Touch, Firm Touch, hard pressure, long force duration, short force duration and very short duration.

Other done by hands (chiropractic) intervention types would include:

Dry needling, Vibration, Manual Shake, Cranial hold and hold one part of your body whilst they move another part.

Replacement intervention approaches to Chiropractic Care might include:

Acupuncture, Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, exercises such as Pilates, Yoga and Tai Chi, Medication, Surgery, do nothing

Medication, surgery and exercises can be used in conjunction with Chiropractic Care.
